IIE or Pallasite
Found 1967
Seymchan, Magadan district, far east Russia
TKW 312.3 kg in 1967 and about 50 kg in 2004

Two masses were found in 1967, total 312.3 kg. It was classified as coarse octahedrite, bandwidth 2.0 mm(iron IIE). There was a new expedition to the Seymchan location in 2004. During the expedition, several new individuals were recovered. Recent finds show that this meteorite is close to Glorieta Mountain and contains numerous olivine grains. It was a big surprise to find that some contain olivine grains and show a nice Widmanstatten structure. Some individuals contain olivine and others do not. Some individuals have fusion crust like Sikhote-Alin, some look like Chinga, and some look like Sikhote shrapnel. These siderite slices are etched on both sides.
