Ochansk H4 Fell August 30, 1877 Perm, Russia After an appearance of a meteor and a many detonations, a shower of stones totaling 500kg fell in the village of Tabory, near Ochansk. The largest weighed 115kg. This is a very friable meteorite, making it difficult to sand or polish without it crumbling or falling apart. Almost all of this material is locked away in museums.
